I’m Na Young Wook, CEO of MIFKO Co., Ltd.

We were founded in 1993 and for the past 30 years we have been continuously importing and supplying advanced horticultural technology, seeds, and related equipment from Western Europe to Korea.

It is often said that seedling cultivation is half of farming. In fact, seeds can be considered the semiconductors of agriculture, their quality has a profound impact on cultivation outcomes. In 1997, when paprika was relatively unknown in Korea, we became the first company to import paprika seeds from the Netherlands and introduce them to the domestic market.

Since then, through partnerships with leading global vegetable breeding companies, we have supplied a wide variety of improved, high-quality seed varieties to help increase farmers’ income. We remain committed to discovering and developing vegetable seeds that are well-suited to Korea’s climate and resistant to various pests and diseases, and delivering them to our customers.

From the early 2000s—when the term “smart farm” was still unfamiliar—we began supplying Priva climate control systems, screens, and roof ventilation systems to the Korean market. We are proud to serve as the official dealer for PRIVA (Netherlands), IFG (Belgium), and Lock (Germany).

Our mission is to help Korea’s horticultural industry reach the level of advanced agricultural nations like the Netherlands.
